Your mother, Lilli, needs a living room table. So, what do you do? You build one --and name it after her, of course! You stock up on reclaimed wood and assemble the pieces without nails, gluing the strips together in gaps from the wood's dovetail milling. Then you pick up scrap pieces from the panels' woodwork and use them to build the legs. You smooth the imperfections with wood filler, leaving it purposely visible before applying a waterproof coat over your creation. At last you sit down to admire your work, and pray your mother never needs a wardrobe.
